The Prize books are awarded to outstanding students in the next-to-graduating class who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship.  A multitude of Clubs around the world awarded Prize Books this year to 1,900 high schools.

Four schools in the Stockholm area are participating in the program and the book awarded in 2011 was Justice written by Michael Sandel, much beloved Harvard Professor. Coordinated by Anna Tebelius Bodin, the prize was sponsored last year by alumni Gunilla Isaksson, Hugh Beach, Graham Barnes and Jon Simonsson.

Those of you who are interested in participating in this worthwhile project need only contribute the cost of a single book. Participants are also encouraged to suggest suitable high schools and to present the award at a high school.
